- Ultra heavy-duty hydraulic drive system includes dual 21cc Hydro-Gear pumps, 22ci Ross wheel motors and auxiliary hydraulic oil coolers for smooth, reliable, zero turn maneuverability.
- Standard equipment auxiliary canister air filter system on all Sabre Tooth Tigers. This provides increased service intervals and longer engine life.
- 10.5 MPH forward and 5 MPH reverse speeds keep productivity at a maximum. The Sabre Tooth Tiger is able to mow at very high ground speeds due to its powerful engine, driveshaft and hydraulic drive system.
- Driveshaft driven cutter deck eliminates belt slip and provides increased reliability and longevity. The driveshaft system also allows for a wider range of cutting heights (1" to 6").

- Double tube main frame construction delivers superior strength and ensures years of trouble free service. The main frame was redesigned in 2002 for an even lower center-of-gravity, more room for the operator and increased hillside stability. Fully welded, full length main frame.
- Command-Comfort Operator's Station provides unmatched fatigue-fighting comfort . Quick-Fit control levers, torsion spring suspension seat, and 3-position deck lift foot pedal combine to provide unprecedented levels of adjustability and ergonomics.
- Quick-Fit steering control levers with shock dampers for smooth, precise responsiveness. Steering levers are adjustable to fit a wide range of operators and are designed for operator comfort.

- Excellent hillside stability due to an exceptionally low center-of-gravity, center mounted fuel tank and extra wide stance.
- Extra large 24 inch drive tires and 13 x 6 - 6 caster tires ensure better traction, less turf tearing and easy curb climbing. Wide tires help distribute mower weight, reducing the pounds per square inch on the ground, in turn reducing turf damage and caster tracking.
- Flat-Free front caster tires virtually eliminate downtime and expense caused by flat front tires.
- Tapered roller bearings are utilized in the front caster wheels and in the caster pivots for durability and reduced maintenance.
- Operator friendly instrument panel includes a voltmeter, ignition switch, oil pressure gauge, mower engagement switch, water temperature gauge and separate choke and throttle controls. The hour meter is located near the engine compartment and runs only when the engine is running.
- Single fuel tank, 10 gallon capacity keeps you in the field cutting grass. Fuel tank is positioned low, in the center of the machine, adding to the mower's low center-of-gravity and excellent hillside stability. Fill up in the morning and cut all day long.
- "Split-Steel" pulley design is stronger than cast iron or stamped pulley designs. They are precision matched and lightweight for reduced inertia and decreased wear on the cutter deck drive system.
- High-quality Fafnir bearings and bearing debris guard on idler pulleys ensure long, reliable service.
